Stephanie Postell

Lifeguard, waitress, babysitter, world traveler, recent Auburn graduate and Chauncey's Surf Shop manager Par Excellence, is moving on. Stephanie Postell has been working at Chauncey's 54th St. shop since the beginning (she was 14).  Hard-working, upbeat, efficient, punctual and caring, Steph is one of the rare few who really get it!  She's moving to Tennessee to work in social services, and wherever she ends up, that community will be far richer for it.

Its all about picking your nose!

The nose of a board is an essential part to the riding of a wave.  Many people are concerned with the shape of the tail, but you must pass the nose before you can get to the tail.  Whether is be pointed, full, v-bottomed, flat, rockered, ect. it can determine the outcome of a wave.  Pick your nose with caution!

Fred is an Hawaiian State Senator, an author and a leading authority on the history of surfing and its interface with both the environment and commercial areas.  Hear tales of surfing with The Duke and how surfers can impact the surfing world today.
